You may have seen some of those "Counting" threads on certain wikis, like the FNAF Wiki and even one HERE for example. This is a game similar, but more interesting than that! The goal of this game is to post a number, well, bigger than the one before it! Seem like just an easier version of the Counting Game, with getting ninja'd no longer giving a 100% chance of the round ending? Well..
Rule 0:The number, must of course be, bigger. That one is obvious, hence being a rule 0, and not rule 1.
Rule 1:The number has to be a well-defined, computable, finite, real number. No "The largest number that can be defined with 1000 characters", as that is incomputable.
Rule 2:You cannot directly reference the previous number. So no "that number+1", or anything of that sort. So, part of what made the Counting Game easy is gone! If it turns OUT to be the next number+1, fine. But don't quote the previous number.
Rule 3:For numbers past around 99^99^99^99^99^99^99^99, you'll probably need to use nonstandard functions and notations more powerful than exponents and scientific notation. However, most of us don't know what that even is, so you'll have to explain what these functions/notations are, so we know how big the number is. (Non-standard functions are any functions you wouldn't find on a scientific calculator.) Also means the game gets harder as we move on, because..
Rule 4:The number cannot take up more than 15 lines. We don't want a big wall of text, we want big numbers. After all, someone could put a big wall of 9's for 15 lines, but someone else could top it with a short 10^1200. THIS is what we want. If anything, it'll just make us have to invent our own notations, or define some of the nonstandard ones that already exist, getting more challenging as time progresses. The DEFINITION of the function CAN take up more than 15 lines. (But don't just make the definition equal to a wall of 9's. Make an actual, well-defined function.)
I'll start with 1.
(If you didn't know already, this game was mentioned in the ETQAY roleplay. It's the one the Storm Troopers were playing. Which means, let's not make an overkill..)
[Fun fact that you probably don't understand:The current growth rate in the Fast-Growing Heiarchy is:3.]
